I first became interested in massage through the early years of my martial arts training, where we would spend time at the end of class stretching and massaging one another. That led to completion of my Massage Therapy Diploma in 1999 with the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. With twenty years of professional practice as a RMT, I have honed my assessment and treatment skills - having performed over 10,000 sessions in my career. I am duly certified as a Fascial Stretch Therapist with Stretch To Win, and Personal Trainer with CanFitPro since 2010. I have worked extensively in rehabilitation exercise therapy as well as personal fitness.
As a fitness coach, I am keenly interested in strength training, calisthenics, corrective exercise, Yoga, and backcountry hiking. I am strongly dedicated to health and fitness in my own life, leading by example and coaching others towards optimal wellness. I have personally experienced the journey of losing 50 pounds, all naturally with regular exercise and good nutrition. I am passionate about learning more and always improving my skills, both personally and as a coach.
